How Many G’s Can An F1 Car Pull?
A deep-dive on the big numbers in F1 G-force...
While there were no surprises in the result at Monza, something I did find interesting is the G-force the drivers experience on each and every lap of the famed circuit.
At the end of the start/finish straight alone, drivers experience 4.5 g in deceleration.
53 laps of those kind of forces just blows my mind 🤯
It’s something that has intrigued one of our newest writers, Elyssa, as she put together one of the most detailed yet easy to understand explanations on how G-force works in F1 that I’ve ever read.
Check it out, she would be stoked to read your comments.
Will We See A Max Verstappen Clean-Sweep?
With just eight races left in the season, and no F1 this week, a lot of F1 YouTubers are chasing clicks with their outlandish predictions on what will unfold.
I think there is a very real possibility that we’ll see Max Verstappen win all eight races in what would arguably be the greatest achievement in the history of F1.
We already know that in a straight head to head battle, Ferrari and Mercedes can’t hang with Red Bull, so barring a big mistake/technical issue in qualifying in Singapore that makes it too hard to gain positions in the race, or the unpredictable weather in Japan or Brazil throwing up a surprise, the sweep could be on…
What do you think, will Max win the remaining eight races of 2023?
Reply with your answer and I’ll share the results in my next email.
See you next week for a preview of Singapore,
Jarrod
