Best Formula 1 Movies & Documentaries: The Ultimate Guide

We’re fast approaching the worst time of the year: The Off-Season.

Even when the racing is less than spectacular, it still seems like the off-season and the summer break go for 57 years, not a handful of weeks.

So what do we do between the season ending and Drive to Survive and pre-season testing starting?

We watch F1 movies and documentaries!

Fun fact, our son is called Ayrton because my wife and I went to watch ‘Senna’ at the cinema. She had no interest in F1 but wanted to see what I was making a fuss about. At the end, with tears still streaming down her face, she said ‘if we ever have a son we should name him Ayrton’ and well who am I to argue?

Anyway.

So what I’ve done is compiled a list of my favourite F1 movies and documentaries and given an overview of each one so you know what you’re getting yourself into before you pop the popcorn.
